Auckland Sports Podiatry

Our story

Handpicked podiatrists with one shared belief.

Welcome to Auckland Sports Podiatry. We’re a passionate group of podiatrists specialising in injuries of the feet and legs, and the biomechanics of running and walking. We’ve provided care to Aucklanders for over 19 years, and have built a strong network across the health-care community.

Cameron Palmer is the director and leader of the Auckland Sports Podiatry team. He has handpicked his team based on their expertise, passion and desire to be the best. We believe in a full-body approach, working alongside other health disciplines whenever it helps your recovery.

“Our mission is to keep you pain-free and on your feet, so you can enjoy an active lifestyle to nourish body and mind.”

Podiatrist Cameron Palmer

Cameron Palmer

Sports Podiatrist / Director

Cameron’s passion for podiatry lies in the philosophy of keeping people on their feet, so they can look after the rest of their body and mind. He is one of only three podiatrists in Auckland with a postgraduate sports medicine diploma, and firmly believes in a holistic approach — “the foot can affect the upper body and the upper body can affect the foot”. He prides himself on isolating the cause of your injury and tailoring a specific treatment plan, drawing on footwear advice, orthotic therapy, stretching, strengthening, strapping/bracing, gait technique changes and activity modification. Cameron has had an active life playing rugby, cricket and running half marathons.
